The President of the Republic expresses Iraq's readiness to secure constructive dialogue in Sudan

Yesterday, Monday, the President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, expressed Iraq's readiness to make efforts to secure a constructive dialogue in Sudan, while stressing the need to create job opportunities for youth and reduce unemployment.
And the President of the Republic said, in a presidential statement: “We are following with pain the unfortunate developments in the Republic of the Sudan, which claimed the lives of citizens, damaged institutions, and disrupted opportunities to continue building and progress in the democratic and peaceful path in the brotherly country.”
He added, “Our firm confidence in the wisdom of the brothers in Sudan and their ability to conduct peaceful and democratic dialogue is sufficient to make us reassured that we will overcome this crisis.”
Meanwhile, the President of the Republic stressed the need to create job opportunities for young people and reduce the problem of unemployment.
Another statement stated that “the President of the Republic received the head of the Parliamentary Economy, Industry and Trade Committee, Ahmed Salim Al-Kinani, and during the meeting, they discussed the government’s program and the unremitting efforts to support the industry and trade sectors in a way that contributes to the provision of local products.”
Rashid stressed, according to the statement, "the need to create job opportunities for young people and reduce the problem of unemployment," pointing to "the importance of encouraging capital, businessmen and companies, and supporting the private sector to improve the reality of investment opportunities."
For his part, Al-Kinani appreciated the directives of the President of the Republic, stressing that “the Parliamentary Economy, Industry and Trade Committee is making its efforts to solve obstacles that hinder the work of the industry and trade sectors and encourage investment opportunities in the country in a way that achieves sustainable development plans.”
In addition, the President of the Republic stressed that the legal deterrence of the assault on a child in Basra Governorate must be firm.
A statement stated that "the President of the Republic followed with great interest the incident of the sinful assault on a child in the city of Basra," noting that "the incident is brutal and alien to the norms, values and societal traditions on which Iraqis grew up."
He added, "The occurrence of this crime urges the security, judicial, educational and social authorities to take what happened to the girl with great attention in order to prevent the recurrence of this crime and to protect society from the deviant behavior of some patients with mental and mental health."
