Shafaq News/ Multiple sources from within the coordination framework, which includes Shiite forces with the exception of the Sadrist movement, revealed on Tuesday that all the leaders of the framework and the blocs allied with it will attend the "national dialogue" tomorrow, noting that two alternatives will be nominated to head the government instead of Muhammad Shia al-Sudani.
The sources told Shafaq News Agency, "The results of the national dialogue meeting called for by Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi will determine the most appropriate option adopted by the coordination framework in its endeavor to form the next government."
And she indicated that "the national dialogue meeting will be attended by all the leaders of the Shiite forces in the framework, along with the leaders allied with it, and the framework will carry with it all its papers that include more than one scenario to get out of the political impasse."
However, the sources mortgaged reaching a solution to get out of the political deadlock, with "all forces agreeing among themselves to overcome differences and start a real dialogue, and if it is necessary to replace the framework candidate for prime minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, there is more than one alternative candidate, most notably Haider Al-Abadi and Abdul-Hussein Abtan."
The sources also pointed out that "if the leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, accepts the outcomes of what he will nominate for tomorrow's meeting, then matters will be resolved in a series of ways that achieve everyone's goals according to their political and electoral entitlement."
Earlier today, Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi, in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, called "the leaders of the national political forces for a national meeting at the Government Palace tomorrow, Wednesday, to start a serious national dialogue and joint thinking, in order to find solutions to the current political crisis, And the current closures within the scope of the constitution and on the basis of the supreme national interest, which contributes to calming the current escalation.”
He stressed, "to create an appropriate environment for political and constitutional solutions, in order to achieve the aspirations of our people."
He also urged "all national parties to stop the popular and media escalation, and to give enough space for moderate proposals to take their place in the national debate."
Al-Kazemi called on the media and the cultural, social and political elites to contribute to the consolidation of the national spirit, and not to frighten people, but rather to help state institutions to carry out their tasks in the service of our people, and in ensuring security and stability.
