    [size=45]Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani affirmed, yesterday, Sunday, that the National Data Center will support the government's program in combating financial and administrative corruption, while indicating that the electronic circulation of funds can be used to address the problems of the exchange rate.[/size]
    [size=45]The media office of the Prime Minister stated, in a statement received by (Al-Mada), that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani inaugurated the National Data Center in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.”[/size]
    [size=45]And the statement continued, “Al-Sudani was briefed on the stages of completing the first phase of the center, using smart screens, and models that embody the stages of installing the national cloud facility, as well as with regard to digital transformation, including the program for canceling the (breast health) transaction.” He pointed out that "Al-Sudani also continued the work of the one-stop-shop for providing electronic services, which currently amounts to 299 services, which bear the name (Ur-Gateway). He reviewed the digital transformation map and the International Training Center."[/size]
    [size=45]The statement pointed out, to "presenting a real simulation of one of the transactions of notary public departments, viewing the electronic system for tracking citizens' communications through the advisory service, and the actual use of the vehicle fine platform electronically, as an example of one of the portal services."[/size]
    [size=45]The Prime Minister stressed, “The need for the media to be informed of these services; In order to raise awareness and educate,” noting that “this project will support the government’s program in combating financial and administrative corruption, which is a serious challenge to all development, reconstruction and services projects.” At the same time, Al-Sudani stressed “the importance of these steps being broader and more comprehensive,” appreciating all “the efforts made to complete this project.”[/size]
    [size=45]The statement stated, “The Prime Minister met with international experts who represent the agencies supporting the project, which are the United Nations Development Program, the World Bank, the Digital Services Center in Britain (GDS), the World Food Program, the International Development Agency for International Cooperation, the Canadian Foreign Affairs Foundation and the (IMMAP) organization, and listened to Brief presentation of the comprehensive digital transformation roadmap in Iraq. He pointed out that "the Prime Minister chaired a meeting of the advisory team of the e-Government Committee, during which he stressed the importance of collecting data in a way that facilitates the provision of service to the citizen, handling poverty and ration card files, and working to reduce time."[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Sudani pointed out that "the electronic circulation of funds, through which it was possible to address the problems of the exchange rate, remedy the differences, and address many other problems that serve the citizen as an ultimate goal."[/size]
    [size=45]At the end of his speech, Al-Sudani went on to "the government's readiness to prepare all financial requirements or in terms of decisions and procedures accompanying digital transformation."[/size]
    [size=45]The spokesman for the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, Haider Majeed, said, in a previous press statement, that “the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia’a Al-Sudani, directed ministries and agencies not associated with a ministry and all governorates to expedite the implementation of points of sale with the electronic payment system (POS) and make unremitting efforts to that".[/size]
    [size=45]Majeed added, "The directive came during the cabinet meeting in its eighteenth regular session, held on the second of last May."[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out, "The Department of Cabinet Affairs and Committees in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers will follow up on the implementation of the directive with the relevant authorities."[/size]
