The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities is close to completing the construction of the Arar-Anaza border road with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while it has completed the road project linking the Nukhayb district and the 160 kilometer area within Anbar Governorate.
Director of the Roads and Bridges Department at the Ministry, Hussein Jassim Kazem, said in an interview with Al-Sabah, followed by Al-Iqtisad News, that the Hammurabi General Company is close to constructing the Arar-Anaza border road in Anbar Governorate under the supervision of the department, where the completion rate has reached 97 percent.
He added that the length of the road is 25 kilometers and is being implemented at a cost of 25 billion dinars, pointing out that the company used the latest international specifications in completing the road because of its great importance in ensuring the smooth flow of commercial activity and transportation with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
