    Information / Translation
    The General Authority for Customs and Border Crossings on Thursday signed an agreement with its Saudi counterpart on the establishment and development of a new crossing Arar on the Iraqi-Saudi border.
    "This agreement comes in accordance with the previous memorandum of understanding between the General Authority of Customs and the Border Crossing Authority of the Republic of Iraq, which was recently signed in Riyadh," the official SPA news agency reported.
    The Saudi agency did not mention further details of the agreement and its terms signed between the two sides.
    The border crossing authority announced earlier that the beginning of next year will see the opening of the second part of the port Arar border, while drew attention to the continuing rehabilitation of the port of Jamema also link with the Kingdom. Ending / 25 z
