    Information / Baghdad..
Repeating the tragic experience experienced by the residents of Kirkuk and minority areas was met with a strong wave of rejection of the return of the Peshmerga forces to the areas of Kirkuk and some areas in other governorates over which the regional government sought to impose authority.

The political parties, and before them the people, responded to these attempts aimed at extending political and military authority, especially at this sensitive time preceding the provincial council elections, with the aim of ensuring that Barzani’s party obtains electoral seats that qualify it for administrative control over the areas in which it is located.
The representative of the coordinating framework, Muhammad Radi, told Al-Maalouma, “Talk about the existence of an agreement with the Kurdistan Democratic Party before the formation of the government to hand over Kirkuk Governorate is incorrect, and no one can adopt such a position, as the aforementioned party is not considered a representative of Kirkuk.” .

He added, "There are many parties present within this province, including the National Union, the Turkmen, Arabs and other minorities, and therefore the Kirkuk issue will not pass easily and Parliament discussed the current situation in this province."
He pointed out that "it was agreed to bring together all parties and form a committee by the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee to investigate the facts about the course of events in Kirkuk."
On the other hand, the representative of Nineveh Governorate, Waad Mahmoud, confirmed to Al-Maalouma that, “The Nineveh Plain does not suffer from any security challenges, but rather political challenges represented by attempts to restore the Kurdistan Democratic Party despite the popular and popular rejection of any step in this direction.”
He added, "The rejection comes because the people tasted the bitterness of the presence of the Kurdistan Democratic Party before 2014 because of its crimes against the people. In the end, the return of the party does not represent the opinion of the people in those areas, and any pressure in this direction does not serve the public interest."

On the other hand, political analyst Sabah Al-Ukaili said during his interview with “Al-Ma’louma” that “Barzani’s party is seeking to procrastinate the Kirkuk issue through slander and claims about the existence of previous political agreements that guarantee the return of the Democratic Party to the headquarters of operations in Kirkuk Governorate.”
He added, "The agreement in the state administration coalition before the formation of the government did not stipulate or include the return of the headquarters of the Kurdistan Democratic Party to Kirkuk Governorate, which is something that this party is trying to negotiate by seeking to return and control some important headquarters."
He pointed out that "there is great rejection in Kirkuk for the return of the aforementioned party, and other Kurdish parties such as the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan also refuse for Barzani's party and the Peshmerga forces to return to this province." Ended 25 n
