On Monday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani chaired a meeting to implement the development road project.
The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a statement received by Al-Iqtisad News, "Al-Sudani chaired the meeting of the Supreme Committee for the implementation of the Development Road Project."
Earlier, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, announced the “Development Road” project to link the large port of Al-Faw to Turkey all the way to Europe, during a conference in Baghdad with transport officials from neighboring countries.
The project witnesses the participation of 10 regional countries: Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the Emirates, Bahrain, and Iran.
