The Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed on Thursday that the gangs of "Daash" criminal use the safe area set up by America in southern Syria.
"The illegal American military presence on Syrian soil remains a challenge to move towards peace in the country and to preserve the unity and territorial integrity of the country," Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova told a news conference.
"The safe zone that the United States has built unilaterally around the al-Tanf base in southern Syria is being used by the remnants of the quake," she said.
"Al-Da'ash is benefiting from the possibility of hiding in this region from pursuing Syrian government forces, re-arranging their ranks there and arming new attacks in the Syrian Badia," she said.
The Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov had confirmed earlier, that the goal of America in Syria is not fighting groups of "calling" criminal, but the seizure of economic assets. Ending / 25
