The Iraqi General Ports Company announced on Saturday the reception of six commercial ships with different tonnages in coordination and cooperation with the navigation operations and maritime cadres of the port.
"The port of Umm Qasr received the vessel SEA PLUTO, carrying 50 thousand tons of wheat docked on quay 3, and the vessel OCEAN FLOWER carrying 30,000 tons of rice," Aziz al-Obeidi, director general of the company, said in a statement.
He added that the port of Umm Qasr received the MSC FEDRICA vessel carrying 1103 containers on the 14th berth and the ship ARNICA carrying 156 containers on berth 1 and the ship NORDERNEY carrying 56 tons of pipes and finally the vessel BERMUDA carrying 240 containers Wharf 20.
