    The border crossings authority announced on Sunday an Iraqi-Kuwaiti agreement to build the port of Safwan border and provide infrastructure for the work of the port. 
    "The Iraqi-Kuwaiti High Joint Ministerial Committee held its seventh meeting yesterday in Kuwait and was headed by the Iraqi delegation and the Minister of Foreign Affairs and with the participation of a number of heads of bodies and agents, such as the Ports Authority, its chairman, Kazem Mohammad Brisk Al-Aqabi, . 
    She added that "the two sides (on the ports) on the Kuwaiti side to build the port of Safwan grant and provide the necessary infrastructure for the work of the port, and will be signed memorandum of understanding between the parties, which shows the identification of the obligations of the Iraqi side and the Kuwaiti side related to the work of the port."

    The border crossings authority announced on Sunday that the Iraqi and Kuwaiti sides agreed to build the border port of Safwan.
