Member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee Ahmed Hama Rashid confirmed, on Wednesday, that the remaining time does not allow the budget to be sent from the government and approved in the House of Representatives, indicating that the budget discussion and approval needs to be 80 per day inside the Council.
Rashid said in a statement to "Information", that it is "impossible to send the 2020 budget by the government to the House of Representatives," noting that "the approval of the budget and its approval by the Presidency of the Republic needs at least three months."
He added, “According to the Financial Management Law, the preparation should start with preparing the budget in the middle of next May,” stressing that “the 2020 budget has become a reality like the 2014 budget.”
