The head of the Al-Asr Center for Research and Strategic Studies, Muhammad Al-Sahhaf, on Monday accused the American ambassador in Baghdad, Elena Romanowski, of violating diplomatic norms in all insolence, pointing out that Romanowski’s movements hide behind them motives to target the Islamic resistance.

Al-Sahhaf said in an interview with the Maalouma Agency, “The American ambassador in Baghdad, Elena Romanowski, brazenly violated diplomatic norms,” noting that “targeting the embassy is an expected result of responding to the provocative American interventions and transgressions.”
He added that "the provocative statements of Washington's ambassador are blatant interference in internal affairs and a violation of national sovereignty," noting that "Washington, through its embassy in Baghdad, is working to target the Islamic resistance to cover up the crimes of the Zionist entity in Gaza."
In a previous interview, the representative of the coordination framework, Mahdia Al-Lami, called on the government to investigate the circumstances of the American bombing of the Popular Mobilization Forces sites in Jurf Al-Nasr and Kirkuk, while the United States was accused of committing serious violations of the sovereignty and security of Iraq.
