The Minister of Industry assures the Syrian ambassador of readiness to enhance future cooperation

[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Minister of Industry and Minerals, Khaled Battal Al-Najm, met in his official office at the Ministry’s headquarters with the Syrian Ambassador to Iraq, Sattam Jadaan Al-Dandah, in the presence of the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, to discuss strengthening joint industrial cooperation.
During the meeting, the minister stressed, according to a statement by the ministry, the fraternal relations and close ties between Iraq and Syria and the aspirations of both countries for closer cooperation and joint work at various levels and sectors.
The minister discussed with the ambassador a number of industrial fields of interest to both sides, including the textile and food industries, with the aim of establishing complementary projects that serve the interests of the two countries, in addition to discussing the work of the joint Iraqi-Syrian committee, whose meetings will be held in the middle of next month, and the opportunities available for cooperation in light of Iraq’s economic openness to achieve Growth and attracting Arab and international investments.
Al-Najm directed to provide the Syrian side with investment opportunities and projects presented to the Ministry in various industrial sectors, expressing the Ministry’s desire and readiness to communicate and coordinate to enhance future cooperation opportunities between the two brotherly countries.
For his part, the Syrian ambassador affirmed his country’s desire to enhance cooperation and joint work with Iraq and aspire to establish complementary projects and fruitful partnerships that serve the industry of both countries./End 9[/rtl]
