    The Oil Ministry announced, on Wednesday, displaying 12 fields in central and southern Iraq to develop, while confirming that the negotiation will determine the type of contract in the manner best suited to the parties, she noted that any company match the standards set by contracts and licenses department in the ministry has the right to apply for competition and negotiation to develop those fields.
    A spokesman for the Oil Ministry, Assem Jihad, said in an interview to the (long-Presse), "The ministry announced the presentation of 12 field development, one of the medium and small fields in central and southern Iraq."
    He said jihad, "All previously licensed companies from the Department contracts and licenses in the oil ministry and the state match the standards set by this circuit from the right company come forward to compete and negotiate for the development of those fields," noting that it "can be a company or coalitions that engage with each other to negotiate on the type of contract system that will develop the field. "
    The spokesman for the Ministry of Oil that "the negotiation is which will result in the identification of the type of contract Will service or other contract, according to the most appropriate way for both sides to develop the fields," pointing out that "the NAC are many kinds of contracts are not limited to service contracts or the post just so the determine the type of contract will be subject to negotiation between the developed and the company's oil ministry and the last is to determine the manner in order to serve their goals. "
    The oil minister Jabbar and coffee, said Wednesday (7 September 2016) that "the ministry's plan for the current two-year and next focused on the development of oil production and gas investment from small fields in southern Iraq, and with the national oil company called for the participation of investment contracts, stressed the need to review contracts with companies within the licensing round to be adjusted to ensure that the interests of the country.
    Iraq is the second largest oil producer in OPEC, and is working with other members of the organization, such as Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE and Iran, to increase their oil exports during the third quarter of the current 2016, as Iraq is trying to overcome the standard rate of current exports amounting to up to three million and 370 thousand barrels per day, through next June, so Havea footsteps of other oil producers in the Middle East to increase their shares in the market ahead of the meeting of the Organization of petroleum exporting countries members (OPEC) early this month.
