The head of the Iraqi Association of private banks, the depositary of Handal's "Economy News", "During our meeting, US Ambassador Douglas Silliman in the capital Baghdad extended an invitation to the Association of private banks to participate in an Arab banking conference US in New York will be held in the sixteenth of the month of October next," adding that "the door is open to all banks Iraqi to participate in the conference part of the delegation that will represent the country."
He pointed out that "the Minister Plenipotentiary for Economic Affairs at the US embassy Larry Mimut answered the call for the Association of Banks to visit its headquarters and explain the conference details of all Iraqi banks," explaining that "the Central Bank called on private banks to hold a meeting to unify the visions on dealing with correspondent banks and put forward at the next meeting of the States United States. "
Among Handal that "this conference will contribute significantly to the strengthening of the relationship between the Iraqi and US banks that have a primary in dealing with Iraq as reflected positively on the work of banks."
The Union of Arab Banks will organize the largest Arab banking gathering - US in New York, at the headquarters of the Central Bank of the US Federal, on October 16, 2017 with the establishment of a gala dinner in the presence of a bank 500, in cooperation with the "ABANA" (the Arab Bankers Association of North America).
