Iran announced its readiness to participate in the reconstruction of the city of Mosul, days after the war officially ended.
The Iranian Minister of Industry, Mohammad Reza Nematzadeh, said that his country has good experience in the field of the establishment of industrial parks, and is ready to put these experiences by the Iraqi side.
The Iranian minister's remarks came on the sidelines of the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement between the Ministries of Industry, Mines and Trade and Iran and its Iraqi counterpart, according to IRNA.
The minister pointed out that Iraq needs reconstruction and development, especially in the sectors of engineering and construction, and Iran is ready to support Iraq in the field of infrastructure construction such as water and electricity networks and the construction of berths and public facilities and welfare and others.
Hundreds of Iranian companies operating in the field of construction and reconstruction of infrastructure, and the construction of large projects, especially in the provinces of Najaf and Karbala, which includes religious shrines, and the southern provinces of the country, are operating special facilities provided by the Iraqi government.
