Dhi Qar and Maysan offices received electronic ballot boxes to speed up the announcement of the results of the upcoming elections, while Wasit Governorate continues its preparations through holding awareness seminars to urge voters to participate in the next election. The Director of the Office of the Commission of Dhi Qar Zaidi al-Sabah: The Commission received 3226 electronic ballot boxes to be used in the upcoming parliamentary elections, adding that the funds received by the Office of the Commission will cover the number of polling stations to be opened in Dhi Qar, Reserve. He referred to inviting observers who will participate in the elections, as well as receiving requests for contracts with those who wish to work as polling officers on the day of the elections. The group included students from universities, institutes and employees of the government departments and those with at least a preparatory certificate. .
The director of the Wasit elections office, Salah Hassan Jaber, said that the office held an extended seminar for all segments of the society from the people of the province attended by representatives of political entities and those interested in political affairs in order to raise awareness and urged the voters to participate in the upcoming parliamentary elections, Pointing out that the seminar included urging the voter to participate actively in the elections because it determines the fate of the country, and provide a full explanation on the voting mechanism and the distribution of parliamentary seats.
Jabr explained that the Commission will continue to hold such seminars in all districts and areas of the province in order to explain the mechanism of the upcoming elections and the need for participation of all citizens, indicating that the electoral registration centers have seen a large turnout to receive the electronic voter card, promising a wide participation in the upcoming elections, Has led to a decrease in the percentage of voter registration records updated during the modernization period.[/rtl]
