The Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced the approval of the Council of Ministers to include the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals produced, which achieve an added value not less than (25%) of the Council of Ministers Decision No. (23) of 2018.
The director of the media and public relations center in the ministry, Abdul Wahed Alwan Al-Shammari, said that the inclusion of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals in the said decision was the result of the efforts and efforts exerted by the Minister of Industry and Minerals Engineer Mohammed Shiaa Al-Sudani and within the series of his achievements to develop the Iraqi industry and make it a main pillar of the economy of the country.
Al-Shammari pointed out that the inclusion of the Ministry's companies in postponing customs duties on imported goods and goods will be an important and necessary incentive to encourage the Ministry's companies to fulfill their contractual obligations and meet the local need of all the national products produced by them, which reach more than 270 local products, To increase its capacity and improve the efficiency of its productive performance and its financial indicators.
Al-Shammari stressed that the ministry and the efforts and plans of its Sudanese minister are proceeding at a clear and sound pace towards advancing the status of their industrial companies and restoring confidence in local production until achieving the objectives of building a competitive Iraqi industry similar to those in the region.
On the other hand, the General Company for Hydraulic Industries, one of the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, announced the establishment of a work plan to implement the duties of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, which includes inventory processing of ministries and institutions of the state and all provincial councils with waste compresses produced by the said company.
