Parliament receives the approval of the Audit Bureau to immediately pay compensation to the martyrs of the defense

Deputy Speaker of Parliament Hassan al-Kaabi on Wednesday obtained the approval of the Audit Bureau to immediately pay the martyrs of the Ministry of Defense.
Al-Kaabi said in a statement received that he had held an extensive meeting in his office in the presence of the head of the Financial Supervision Bureau, Salah Nuri Khalaf and Director of the General Retirement Authority Ahmed Abdul Jalil, noting that "we adopted efforts to obtain the approval of the Financial Control Bureau Immediate to their families and without any deductions for income tax or pensions. "
Al-Kaabi added that "the deliberation took place in the case of delaying the delivery of compensation of the martyrs of the Ministry of Defense, amounting to 40 billion Iraqi dinars, originally disbursed to the Ministry of Defense and pending the direction of financial control, which immediately agreed to start without delay through the services of the General Pension Authority."
Al-Kaabi said that "the payment of these compensation will be made without including the instructions related to the suspension of pensions and income tax, and will be paid to the families of martyrs."
