(Baghdad: Al-Furat News) Iranian Oil Minister, Beijing Zangana, and his delegation arrived in Baghdad on Thursday morning.
He was received by Deputy Prime Minister for Energy and Minister of Oil Thamer Ghadhban.
"This visit comes within the framework of strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries in the field of oil and energy," ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said in a statement received by the Euphrates News Agency.
"The two sides will hold a meeting to discuss issues of mutual interest," Jihad said.
He added that "the schedule of the visit includes the meeting Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi and the President of the Republic.
