The Minister of Immigration discusses with the Dutch ambassador ways of returning rejected Iraqis to their asylum applications

Moussa stressed "the need to find appropriate solutions and ways to secure the voluntary return of Iraqis rejected requests for asylum and to be a successful experience and a step to work with the European Union." 
"The Iraqi government is working in accordance with a strategy that emphasizes respect for human rights and the resolution of refugee issues in a humanitarian and permanent manner by respecting the choices of the refugee within the internationally recognized standards," the minister said.

Minister of Immigration to the Dutch Ambassador: We reject the forced return of Iraqis from countries of exile

Minister of Migration and Displaced Nofal Baha Moussa, on the refusal to return forcibly to Iraqis from countries of exile, stressing the need to secure voluntary return. 

"The Immigration Minister stressed upon the reception of Dutch Ambassador to IraqMatthias Voltars at the ministry's headquarters in Baghdad that the return of Iraqis residing in the Netherlands and other countries should be voluntary and not coercive," the ministry's press office said in a statement received by Alsumaria News .

Moussa stressed "the need to find appropriate solutions and ways to secure the voluntary return of Iraqis rejected requests for asylum and to be a successful experience and a step to work with the European Union."
