announced the Iranian foreign, Sunday, that the three islands in the Persian Gulf , "Abu Musa, the Greater Tunb, the Lesser Tunb" is an integral part of the sovereignty of Iran.

"Iran's three islands are an integral part of Iranian sovereignty," Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasimi said in a press statement, stressing that " Iran will never give up an atom of its historical and legitimate right."

On the final day of the meeting, where the documents are usually studied and approved, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates presented a text entitled "The Abu Dhabi Declaration", which was signed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates He wanted to define it as a final declaration and then ratify it without referring to the views of the other delegations present, which led the Iranian delegation to protest against this method in conducting the session, as well as the Pakistani delegation protested.

"Despite the protest of the Iranian delegation and some other delegations, the UAE foreign minister tried to exploit the hosting conditions in a move that contradicts all the accepted criteria for imposing a vote in the meeting and endorsing the text and making it the final declaration," he added.

The Iranian foreign ministry spokesman said that "following this step from the UAE side, especially that the text presented by her delegation included her empty claims about the Iranian islands, Abu Musa, and a great and minor vengeance, he faced a severe protest by the Iranian delegation and therefore the members of the delegation left the meeting. The tension in the meeting and the conclusion and the departure of all other delegations gradually and therefore the failure of the UAE to achieve its goal, which was planned in advance and the request of the illegitimate.

"The Iranian delegation presented its protests and considered the text proposed by the UAE as a final declaration that it had no value," he said, adding that "these events occurred before the closing ceremony, which led to the failure to conduct them as is usually the case at such international meetings" .
