Shafaq News / The Iraqi Foreign Ministry issued a statement Tuesday on the wife of a ministry employee glorifying the former regime.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmad al-Sahaf said in a statement to the news agency that "some news sites and social networking sites have been told that the wife of an employee of the Iraqi Foreign Ministry glorifies the former regime and insulted the current government, and published that the wife of this employee lives with her husband in Cairo In a villa paid for at the expense of our ministry, and holds a diplomatic passport, and linked to Ambassador Ahmed al-Dulaimi, Iraq's ambassador to Cairo, and the delegate in the Arab League.

He added that "this person was an employee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has started work in the Arab League services provided by the Ministry, after the end of the loan (four years) refused to return to Baghdad, the ministry immediately dismissed him," noting that "and his family do not hold A diplomatic passport, and do not live at the expense of the ministry; because it is not of its staff. "

He added that "his wife from Ahmed al-Dulaimi, Iraq's ambassador to Cairo, is not true, and that (Dulaimi) is similar in the tribal title of a large clan spread throughout the provinces of Iraq."

He pointed out that "the rules of procedure of the Arab League is considered to be a staff member from his country to the university, and he will receive his financial rights from the university itself, but the problem with this system is that the university does not specify the length of service of the employee according to the system of his ministry in transport, Four years, the Foreign Ministry has demanded the need to amend the rules of procedure to deal with such situations and avoid the occurrence of similar cases.
