A US sniper returning from Iraq was hit by a passing car

A former US soldier who fought in Iraq faces charges after a crowd of citizens stormed his car in California this week.
Investigators say the 34-year-old Isaya Joel Peebles deliberately drove his car into a crowd of pedestrians in the Silicon Valley city of Sanival on Wednesday, injuring eight people, six of whom were taken to hospital, including a 13-year-old girl in critical condition.
