Kurdistan Union: Farouk Al - Shwani, our candidate for the post of Minister of Justice

The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) announced on Tuesday its candidacy for Farouq al-Shwani for the post of justice minister, denying that the minister is a candidate from a bloc or party other than the Union.
"The Minister of Justice (Farouk Al-Shwani) was nominated for this position by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan," MP Hussein Narmo said in a statement.
"There are many differences after the election of (Barham Salih) as president of the republic, but there is an agreement that took place between the National Union and the Democratic that the post of Minister of Justice belongs to the Union to be followed by the selection of (Farouk Chwani) for this position."
