    Forming a committee to end the influence of families on companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals

    A member of the parliamentary investment and economy committee Saad al-Khazali announced on Thursday the formation of a subcommittee to end the influence of parties and families on the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals.
    "The Committee on Investment and Economy in the House of Representatives formed a subcommittee to investigate the issue of the seizure of families and parties on the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals," Khazali said in a statement issued by his media office.

    He added that "the committee will begin its work during the next few days to follow up and scrutinize all contracts concluded within the companies of industry and minerals," pointing out that "all projects that contain suspicions of corruption will be referred to the Commission of Integrity and the judiciary." 
    He stressed that "the Committee will start its work without any pressure or bargaining and we will reveal the families controlling the companies."

    "The Investment and Economy Committee of the House of Representatives formed a subcommittee to investigate the issue of the seizure of families and parties by companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals," Khazali said in a statement. 
    He added that "the committee will begin its work during the next few days to follow up and audit all contracts concluded within the companies of industry and minerals, noting that" all projects that contain suspicions of corruption will be referred to the Commission of Integrity and the judiciary. "
