Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi, admitted that the demonstrations taking place in Baghdad and a number of provinces revealed factors of imbalance in the political system.
"We are working to reform the country by meeting the requirements of comprehensive development and not only by responding to legitimate demands," Abdul-Mahdi said during a meeting with the leaders of central and southern provinces.
