Al-Tamimi: Allawi does not have the authority to amend the budget until after Parliament votes on his booth

On Thursday, legal expert Ali al-Tamimi confirmed that Prime Minister-designate Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi does not currently have any powers to make changes to positions or amend the budget, pointing out that Allawi will have full powers after the parliament votes on his cabinet.
Al-Tamimi said in a statement to "Information", that "the new Prime Minister, Muhammad Tawfiq Allawi, is still a candidate for this position, and he did not acquire the capacity of the Prime Minister, as he did not obtain the confidence or the vote of Parliament to assume this position."
He added that "Allawi, despite his assignment by the President of the Republic to form the new government, but today he cannot take any action, change or amendment to the budget."
