A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahaf, said in a statement: "The ministry sent a memorandum to the Riyadh embassy in Baghdad, in which it valued the Kingdom's initiative to facilitate the return of (54) Iraqi pilgrims stranded in Jeddah, exempt them from fines, and secure a way to transfer them to the country." / End 7[/rtl]
