    He told the Iraqi National News Agency ( NINA ): What has been circulated across several sites about reducing staff salaries to the next half month is baseless.

    Saleh added that: The state is working with all its capabilities to provide life and material necessities for citizens in light of the current circumstance that Iraq and the world go through.

    The economic expert considered the haven of the secretary that the decline in oil prices globally led to a decrease in Iraq's financial revenues to more than half.
    The Secretary said to "Al-Ahed News", "This matter has a great impact on the economic reality of Iraq, implementation of projects, services, and the living condition of citizens, as the value of the Iraqi dinar will decrease against the dollar and lead to a rise in the prices of basic materials."
    He added, "The decline has led to the cessation of most of the productive sectors that contribute to the circulation of funds and the achievement of profits, such as factories, workshops, and earning work from the two-day procedure."
    But the Secretary pointed out that the government should pass the stage of the Corona epidemic, by "spending a lot of money to provide medicines and treatments, open new hospitals, buy help devices, and provide basic materials to feed poor families."
    He explained, "This means opening a new door for spending whose quantity cannot be determined, and this matter in the economy means financial exhaustion to face the disaster."
