A member of the Legal Committee in the House of Representatives, Salim Shushka, said that "the committee held a meeting through the electronic department in which they discussed the issuance of a general amnesty decision that includes some of the detainees, in order to preserve their safety and reduce the overburden of the government."
Yesterday, resigned Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi sent a recommendation to the President of the Republic, Brahim Saleh, to issue a special amnesty for the convicts to avoid the spread of the "Corona" epidemic among the prisoners. End 29 / A 43
