, political sources familiar with the negotiations to form a government revealed, on Thursday, that Shiite forces refuse to keep Fouad Hussein as finance minister.
The sources said, "The Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi may have largely decided his status with the Sunnis and the Kurds, including the survival of the Finance Ministry, with its current minister, Fouad Hussein, which was not accepted by Shiite forces."
He added, “It seems ready to radically reconsider its position on him if he insists on granting the Kurds the cabinet, and he keeps the minister.” Ended 29 / A 43
