, MP Faleh Al-Khazali revealed, on Sunday, new details about the meeting of heads and representatives of Shiite blocs with Prime Minister-designate Mustafa Al-Kazemi.
Khazali said, "The meeting that brought together the heads and representatives of the Shiite forces in charge, Mustafa Al-Kazemi, dealt with two issues. The first is the discussion about the ministerial formation and the possibility of changing the names that are circulating in the political and media corridors and replacing them with new figures, and the second is the government program and its determinants."
He added, "The reasons for the Shiite blocs' reservation of the names proposed by Al-Kazemi for the cabinet booth are due to the adherence of the Sunni and Kurdish powers to their electoral entitlements, and therefore either the selection is equal to all the blocs and components, or the distribution is according to the merits of each bloc and component."
He stressed: "There is no agreement on all the proposed names for the cabinet, as well as there is no agreement to change everyone," noting that "the next few hours will be critical for a total or partial change of the proposed names."
Al-Khazali expected, "The names of the ministerial cabinet will be changed comprehensively, with the exception of one or two names, or a total change without excluding one of the names presented," stressing that "the policy does not have a constant but the changes occur and occur in moments."
