The Iraqi ambassador in Washington: We can not wait for the arms of the United States
{Baghdad} Euphrates News said the Iraqi ambassador to Washington Luqman Philly that Iraq went to other countries to ask for military support to counter the terrorist gangs Daash because "Baghdad can not wait for more to receive additional assistance from the United States."
He favored the Iraqi ambassador to the institution of the word "Carnegie" in Washington on Tuesday that Iraq accept more aid from countries other than the United States, including Iran, to counter the threat that these gangs now control several areas in Iraq.
He called on the United States to Philly air strikes against militants Daash step "decisive" against the militants.
Philly warned, saying, "The time is not working in our favor and that the delay will not only serve the terrorists."
The Iraqi ambassador to the United States Luqman Philly appealed to the U.S. Congress understand the current situation in Iraq and to accelerate the provision of the necessary support, away from the routine procedures which may delay the arrival of the aid.
Philly said in a statement to "Radio Sawa", said the need for Iraq to help essential need and the situation in Iraq does not assume the nature of the actions of the U.S. and other approvals.
He added that the Iraqis are waiting for support from the United States to deal with the reality of the situation in Iraq.
The Iraqi Ministry of Defense announced Tuesday the arrival of the second batch of Russian Sukhoi jets to the capital, Baghdad.
Iraq has received 24 fighter aircraft of the Russian-made Sukhoi from Moscow with the aim of confronting militants Daash gangs.
