The leader of the Sadrist movement, Muqtada al-Sadr, commented today, Thursday, on the military parade of a "militia" in Baghdad.
Al-Sadr wrote on his Twitter account, saying, “One of the militias has resorted to the armed military parade and massive deployment in the beloved capital, Baghdad, for demands such as the exchange of the dollar, and I say:
First: Resorting to weapons to fulfill the demands is unacceptable, and the government must prevent it from occurring again.
Second: If this party that performed the parade belongs to the Mujahid crowd, the crowd must punish it, otherwise it is declared innocent.
Third: The decision to raise the dollar exchange has benefits and harms, and that is why we left its decision in the hands of specialists who are knowledgeable about economic matters.
Fourth: Perhaps that militia thinks that it will gain the people's sympathy for it .. No, violence is beyond the sympathy of the people, so stop you from violence and harm ... and beware and break the prestige of the state, especially if your parade was not in coordination with it.
