An unprecedented increase in revenues from Khor Al-Zubair Port last month

On Friday, the Ministry of Transport announced an unprecedented increase in revenues from the Khor Al-Zubair port in Basra during the month of March.
General Director of the General Company for Ports, Farhan Al-Fartousi, said in a statement seen by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "according to the directives of the Minister of Transport, Nasser Al-Shibli, the staff of Khor Al-Zubair Port will continue to achieve a continuous increase in revenues for the month of March."
He added that "this increase will be positively reflected in all aspects of the company."
For his part, Director of Khor Al-Zubair Port, Ahmed Jassem Al-Asadi, explained that "this increase in revenues came through the directives and follow-up of the Director General and the efforts of the port's workers."
He stressed, "The determination of the administration of Khor Al-Zubair port and the staff working in it to implement all the duties entrusted to them, enhance revenues and improve services provided to the company's customers.
