    {Economic: Al Furat News} Al-Rasheed Bank announced, on Tuesday, the start of paying the grant allocated to the families of the victims of the Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital fire.
    A statement by the bank’s media office, which {Euphrates News} received a copy of, stated, “Today, Tuesday, under the direction of the Director-General in the name of Abdul Ali Youssef, he began paying (a grant) the Central Bank of Iraq allocated to the families of the martyrs and the wounded of Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital.
     And he indicated, "(The branch of its archeology), which was allocated to pay the grant to its beneficiaries, began in the morning and work is underway under the supervision of the Director of the Control Department and in the presence of an honorable committee from the Council of Ministers."
    He added, "The work will continue until six o'clock in the evening for this day and the coming days," calling on "the families of the martyrs and the wounded of the first degree to review the aforementioned branch for receipt." 
    It is reported that a fire broke out on the 24th of last April in Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital in Baghdad, which is used to treat patients with the Corona virus, as an oxygen gas cylinder exploded, which led to the outbreak of the fire in the floor designated for pulmonary resuscitation in the hospital, and resulted in the death of at least 130 people and dozens of injured, according to statistics from the Commission for Human Rights. in Iraq. 
    Health Minister Hassan Al-Tamimi resigned over the incident, while the judiciary suspended the hospital director and several employees on charges of negligence.
    The Council of Ministers considered the victims of the tragedy as martyrs, and awarded ten million dinars to the families of each of the victims.
