    The Central Bank of Iraq announced, on Monday, the launch of a three-pronged initiative to mitigate the damage caused to the families of the martyrs and the wounded in the Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital accident, as well as to rehabilitate the hospital and support the government's efforts to deal with the aftermath of the accident.
    In a statement received by the National News Center, the Central Bank stated, "The bank shares our people's grief over the tragic accident that occurred in Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital, in which a number of martyrs and wounded were killed."
    He added, "The Central Bank, banks and non-banking financial institutions launched an initiative to mitigate the damage that befell the families of the martyrs and the wounded, to rehabilitate the hospital, and to support the government's efforts to address the effects of this painful incident." The martyrs of the accident, ”the second,“ allocating a grant to each of the injured from the accident, ”and the third,“ supporting the government's efforts to rehabilitate the hospital in accordance with what is coordinated with the Prime Minister. ”

    The Central Bank of Iraq launched an initiative aimed at mitigating the damage in the Ibn Al-Khatib hospital fire, which occurred on Saturday, killing and wounding nearly 200 people.
    The initiative included allocating a grant for the families of the accident’s martyrs, allocating a grant for each of the injured in the accident, and supporting the government's efforts to rehabilitate the hospital in accordance with what is coordinated with the Prime Minister.
    On Sunday, the Iraqi Ministry of Interior announced that the death toll from the fire that broke out on Saturday / Sunday night at Ibn Al-Khatib Hospital in Baghdad, designated for those infected with Coronavirus, has risen to 82 dead and 110 injured.
