On Tuesday, Hassan Nazim, Minister of Culture and spokesman for the Council of Ministers, revealed details of interest-free loans that will be granted to citizens for the purchase and construction of housing units.

Nazim said in a press conference, followed by "Nass" (June 22, 2021), that "there are measures taken by the government to take care of the housing file, and that the Central Bank took the initiative to fund the Real Estate Bank and the Housing Fund with more than one trillion and 800 billion dinars."
He added that "the initiative will grant interest-free loans to citizens to buy and build housing units," noting that "the loan repayment period is up to 20 years and will motivate citizens to buy housing units."
He pointed out that "the Council of Ministers hosted the head of the Electoral Commission to overcome the difficulties facing its work. The council also discussed preparing the commission's warehouses and taking care of the cadre that will work during the elections," explaining that "the government is determined to complete fair and impartial elections on time."
According to Nazim, "The Council of Ministers agreed to allocate three billion dinars to expand the Baghdad-Kut road, and the Council also decided to write off the sums owed by the employees of the Prisoners Institution who were martyred as a result of terrorism," noting that "the Council of Ministers approved the national strategy for infrastructure security that includes sensitive issues." .
He pointed out that "the Council of Ministers discussed printing school curricula and providing them with the start of the school year, and also approved a draft law on the Institute for the Preparation of Police Commissioners."
