A statement issued by the agency, Al-Furat News, stated that "Iraq does not encourage its citizens to emigrate, but some Iraqi tourists are deceived by gangs of illegal immigration and decide to emigrate."
He added that "Baghdad International Airport is intended for legal travel only, and since Belarus legally and legally allows Iraqi tourists to enter its territory, the Iraqi state cannot prevent its citizens from traveling to a country legally {and no country in the world can prevent its citizens from traveling legally} Therefore, flights heading to Belarus through Baghdad International Airport are legal and legal, and the arrival of Iraqi tourists to Belarus is also legal and legal."
The statement pointed out that "the presence of a small group of Iraqis who are being deceived cannot be a reason to prevent all Iraqis from traveling to Belarus, because this would be an illegal decision and inconsistent with the Iraqi constitution and the Universal Charter on Human Rights."
He stressed that "Iraq is ready to cooperate in the fight against transnational organized crime represented by illegal immigration gangs and to arrest and prosecute any suspect of committing this generosity, but at the same time it absolutely rejects the inquiry directed in this way by the European Commissioner because its basis is illegal, so Iraq cannot If he accepts that his international airports are accused of conducting illegal flights, this accusation is totally rejected."
He stressed, "The European commissioner had to seek the assistance of the European Union mission in Baghdad to obtain through it any clarifications required from the Iraqi government, provided that it did not constitute a direct or indirect accusation of participating in any illegal acts."
The European Union announced yesterday that it had asked Iraq to "justify" the use of Baghdad International Airport to transport migrants to Belarus and to Lithuania.
The union said in its request that "immigrants move illegally to Lithuania."
