{Local: Al Furat News} The person in charge of the duties of the Minister of Electricity, Adel Karim, discussed in his office at the ministry's headquarters, with the Czech ambassador in Iraq, the development and diversification of the electric power sectors in Iraq.
A ministry statement said that the Czech ambassador "expressed his country's pride in the experience of the possibility of sharing the development of the energy industry with Iraqi electricity, where the Czech industry is distinguished by leadership and experience, wishing effective communication and continuing work on the solar system by granting job opportunities to its companies operating in Iraq and high technical coordination between the two governments." .
For his part, the person in charge of the duties of the Minister of Electricity reviewed "what the ministry has worked and is working on, and the number of challenges that hinder the implementation of its ambitious plans, and that the ministry has proceeded to diversify energy sources by concluding large contracts for solar energy through various partnerships, and work is underway to install cooling systems to improve and raise the efficiency of the production process." Our work also includes the introduction of combined cycles for our stations, with the twinning of electronic collection projects.
The statement pointed out that "the meeting discussed regional linkage projects with neighboring countries, where the minister explained in detail the quality and importance of these projects and the most important countries involved in their current and upcoming contracts, so that Iraq, through these agreements, can develop the status of the national system, and ensure effective industrial membership within the global energy market." .
