Earth News/ The rule of law suggested that the presidential election session would witness a boycott of more than 130 deputies.
State of Law MP Muhammad al-Salami said in a statement to “Earth News” that with regard to the “national stability deputies, since yesterday, the number of boycotts of the session tomorrow, Saturday, has reached more than 130 deputies.”
Al-Salami added that “this number will witness an increase, especially since some independents and representatives of other blocs will join the boycott of tomorrow’s session, for the election of the President of the Republic,” noting that “the boycotters will collect their signatures directly and their attendance will be collectively for the purpose of conducting the census.”
He pointed out that "the extension movement, and according to its head, Alaa Al-Rikabi, will also boycott the session, and their attendance will be conditional."
