The representative of the Tasmeem Ali Abdul-Sattar coalition demanded, on Tuesday, the Presidency of the House of Representatives to pressure the caretaker government to send the general budget law for the year 2022 instead of going to legislate the food security law.
Abdel-Sattar said in a statement to the "Information" agency, that "many deputies are against the legislation of the food security law," adding that "there are parliamentary demands for the presidency of the council to pressure the government to send the budget instead of this law."
He pointed out that "many projects in the southern governorates have been suspended due to the lack of financial allocations."
