Today, Monday, the Labor Committee and civil society organizations in the House of Representatives revealed a parliamentary tendency to amend the Law on the Care of Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs.
The Media Department of the House of Representatives stated in a statement, "The Labor Committee and civil society organizations held a meeting headed by Representative Nahla Al-Fahdawi, and in the presence of the head of the Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities and Special Needs, Ahmed Hadi and the advanced staff, to discuss the amendment of the Law on the Care of People with Disabilities and Special Needs."
She added, "During the meeting, the articles and paragraphs of the amendment were discussed in detail in order to mature them, and to study all the rationale behind them."
The chairperson of the committee stressed "to proceed with the amendment procedures in order to achieve its desired goals, preserve the rights of this important segment, and meet its aspirations in accordance with professionalism, justice and the preservation of rights."
