, President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid stressed, on Monday, the importance of uniting the national ranks and working to guarantee the interests of the country and citizens.
A statement by the Presidency of the Republic stated, “The President of the Republic, Abd al-Latif Jamal Rashid, received today, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, the head of the Parliamentary Rights Bloc, Hussein Mu’nis al-Muhammadawi,” noting that “during the meeting, al-Muhammadawi presented congratulations and blessings to President Abd al-Latif Jamal Rashid on the occasion of his election as President of the Republic, I wish him success in carrying out his duties.”
The president expressed his thanks and appreciation to "the head of the Parliamentary Rights Bloc, Hussein Mu'nis al-Muhammadawi, for his good feelings," stressing that "the current stage requires uniting the national ranks and joint action in order to protect the country and guarantee the interests of the people."
He pointed to "supporting the government's efforts in implementing its program in a way that meets the living and service requirements of citizens, achieves their aspirations for a decent life, and enhances the country's vital role in the region." Ended 29/N33
