The academic and economist Ahmed Al-Waeli called for monitoring the currencies leaving Iraq.
Today, Tuesday, Al-Waeli said, in his interview with the “Special Coverage” program, which is broadcast by “Al-Ahed”, that “currencies leaving Iraq and to any destination must be monitored.”
Al-Waeli added, "The US Federal Reserve's actions came surprisingly, which reduced the dollar supply in Iraq."
Al-Waeli stressed that "the Iraqi dollar is required by other countries because its price is low for them."
