Today, Tuesday, the advisor to the Prime Minister for Financial Affairs, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, set the date for sending the budget to the House of Representatives.
Saleh told the official channel, followed by (Al-Oula News), that "the general budget for 2023 is in its final touches."
He added, "The budget will be on the table of the House of Representatives at the end of the parliamentary recess and the beginning of the legislative term for the year 2023."
And the Minister of Finance, Taif Sami, announced earlier that the price of a barrel of oil, which was currently set in the general budget, amounted to 65 dollars, and it may reach 70 dollars, while the exchange rate was fixed at 1450.
While the Parliamentary Finance Committee stated that the expected budget amount amounts to about 140 trillion dinars.
