    Baghdad today - Baghdad
Today, Tuesday, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, affirmed that the Shaaban uprising represents a lesson in dignity and evidence of the ugliness of dictatorship.
Al-Sudani stated, in a statement received by (Baghdad Today), that " more than three decades ago, and the memory of the uprising of the month of Sha'ban, which corresponds to March of the year ninety-one of the last century, is still a lesson in dignity, and evidence of the ugliness of the dictatorship and its atrocities that it committed against Unarmed women and men, children and the elderly, have no fault except that they are from the loins of a people who rejected humiliation and tyranny.

He added, "The Shaaban uprising ended with repression that was rarely recorded by press and media cameras, and mass graves that Saddam's Baath party scattered with hatred in all parts of Iraq, but it opened the door to the end of the executioner's fate and his bad punishment," noting that "March of that unforgettable year, He baptized the cohesion of our people with the sacrifices of the martyrs.

And he continued: "A pause of tribute and admiration for the martyrs of the uprising and the oppressed in the mass graves. Blessed are they, their victory and their testimony that exposed the regime of oppression, and honor is for them and their children. They have the right to be proud of what those fathers and brothers made, and we have the right to
bear their sacrifices as a guide for our work today," adding: "Our loyalty For the martyrs of the uprising and for the martyrs of Iraq throughout history, it is for us to work for the sake of Iraq's bright white face, to build a homeland that the nations can brag about, and that the sons of the martyrs can brag about.

Al-Sudani concluded his statement by saying: "Our loyalty is to establish a government of services, giving, and giving. A government that serves people, meets their needs, preserves their dignity, and watches over their future, and this is what we adhere to, without backtracking or hesitation."
