    {Local: Al Furat News} Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Planning announced the details of the Social Fund for Development plan for the current year, while noting that it includes signing contracts to implement (144) projects in most governorates.
    And the ministry's media stated in a statement received by {Euphrates News}, that "Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Planning, Muhammad Ali Tamim, directed to provide appropriate conditions for the fund's work and enable it to implement its annual plan, which includes the implementation of projects of a service nature, foremost of which are water, electricity, roads and schools projects in the poorest regions.
    He added, "The plan includes signing contracts for the implementation of (144) projects in various governorates distributed by (8) projects in Anbar Governorate, (26) projects in Maysan Governorate, (24) projects in Al-Muthanna Governorate, with (10) projects in Babel Governorate, and (6) projects." (Projects in Nineveh Governorate, (5) projects in Diwaniyah Governorate, as well as (31) projects in Salah al-Din Governorate, (24) projects in Erbil Governorate, (9) projects in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, and one project in Dhi Qar Governorate, in addition to re-announcement ( 4) Projects for Dhi Qar Governorate and the same in Anbar Governorate.
    He continued, "The plan for the months (April, May, June) includes the implementation of community mobilization campaigns in the governorates of Wasit, Diwaniyah, Dhi Qar, Baghdad, Babil, and Nineveh, in addition to studying and selecting projects and completing their requirements for the second phase in the governorates of Diwaniyah, Diyala, Dhi Qar, Babel, Baghdad, Sulaymaniyah, and Anbar." Erbil, Najaf, Basra and Holy Karbala, and the third phase in the Dohuk governorate in the Kurdistan region,” explaining that “the plan also includes checking the technical lists of the first phase projects in the governorates of Diyala, Baghdad, Maysan and Holy Karbala, Dhi Qar and Kirkuk, and the third phase projects in the Salah al-Din governorates, Muthanna and Nineveh.
    He emphasized that "the second phase includes preparing requirements and preparing an environmental report for the governorates of Diyala, Baghdad, Najaf, Kirkuk, Karbala, Wasit, Erbil, Basra, and the second phase for Nineveh Governorate."
