The Federal Integrity Commission announced, on Saturday, the implementation of operations to control cases of manipulation, forgery and exaggeration of prices in the departments of agriculture, municipalities and health in Muthanna.
The authority said in a statement, “The Al-Muthanna Investigation Office seized several books in the Directorate of Agriculture in the province, allegedly issued by the Mesopotamia General Company for Seeds. One, while the total amounts for the supplied quantity amounted to (1,810,400,000) billion dinars, and in the General Company for Agricultural Supplies - Al-Muthanna Branch, (18) letters were seized, attributed to the Samawah Agriculture Division, to supply people who Do not have agricultural contracts in the city with urea fertilizer.
She added, "The office teams monitored, after follow-up and audit, an exaggeration in the prices of preparing and transporting dirt and gravel, and spreading them in the project to implement the streets of the Professors' neighborhood, which was implemented by the Implementation Committee of the Municipality of Samawah, at a cost of (246,000,000) million dinars," indicating that "the Implementation Committee You did not address the machinery department and other departments in the directorate, to indicate the availability of the mechanisms and manpower necessary to implement the project or not.
And she continued: “In Al-Hussein Teaching Hospital, the quantities of medicines supplied and distributed from the (rabies) vaccine were checked in the emergency pharmacy, as it was found that there were (215) vaccines prepared by the drug store that were not recorded in the vaccines register, while the actual balance was (55) vaccines.” Only,” pointing out that “there is no evidence to support the disbursement of the remaining (160) vaccine materials.”[/rtl]
